COVID-19 risk assessments

The school is fully risk-assessed. The Bourne Education Trust commissioned its Health and Safety consultants Carstens and Robinson Ltd to produce a template for schools to use which complied with all government guidelines. The risk assessment was completed by the Headteacher of each school in conjunction with relevant members of the senior leadership team. This version 3 has been  significantly amended to reflect updated DfE guidance for school reopening from 8 March 2021, including a revised system of controls.

It has been approved by Rob Isaac, Operations Director for the Bourne Education Trust, and will be reviewed by the Headteacher on a half-termly basis or more often as required until further notice.

In addition to the risk assessment for ongoing COVID-related safety measures and controls, the school and Trust have collaborated to produce a risk assessment specifically covering initial mass testing of asymptomatic staff and students, weekly testing of asymptomatic staff and serial testing of asymptomatic staff and students who are identified as being close contacts of positive cases. Following this risk assessment is information regarding GDPR and privacy.
