There are no courses in Business Studies at present delivered at Key Stage 3; however, we introduce a topic of what they will be learning at the end of year 8. Pupils work in small groups encouraging teamwork but also individuality. All pupils enjoy this taster session and it helps them gain some understanding of what Business Studies would be about at GCSE level.

Business studies is a subject offered at KS4 as an option for students that are interested in finding out about the Business world. Students are encouraged to research existing businesses and follow current affairs as these often feedback into class discussions.

Key Stage 4

Students gain business knowledge, understanding and skills. They begin to understand current events in local, national and global contexts. They learn how to use relevant terms, concepts and methods effectively to describe business and economic behaviour.
