Salesian School Sixth Form

Salesian Sixth Form is a fully comprehensive Catholic Sixth Form. We offer a range of A-Levels, Applied A-Levels and BTEC qualifications and run a comprehensive enrichment programme in both Year 12 and 13. We pride ourselves on our outstanding results at both AS and A2 and ensure we deliver a curriculum that is academically rigorous and best placed to prepare all our students for life after college.

Entry requirements

Our entry requirements are grade 5s in English and Maths as well a positive progress 8 score. Some subjects will require a 6 in certain subjects (the details of this can be found in our course booklet located on our website).

Open evening dates

Our open evening for this academic year has passed but the date for the next academic year’s event will be on Thursday 28th September. 2017 We can do tours of the site during the day.

Closing dates

Our general application deadline for September 2017 entry has now passed but if you wish to be considered as a late applicant, please inform Ms Lyde so she can make us aware. Our deadline for September 2018 entry is Thursday 21st December 2017.

Bursary (if applicable)

Bursaries of up to £15 per college week are available to those who meet certain financial criteria. Forms are sent to applicants in the summer term once an application form is received.

The transport options from Staines including the cost of travel and if possible the rough time of the journey

Chertsey is very close to Staines. There are a number of bus routes available and Salesian Sixth Form is a five minute walk from Chertsey station (three stops from Staines on the Weybridge service). Driving journeys should take between ten to twenty minutes depending on traffic).
