Duke of Edinburgh Expedition

On Friday 5th and Saturday 6th July, 39 amazing year nine and ten students successfully completed their Bronze expedition for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

The students hiked their way through 30 km of fields and hills across two days and camped overnight in the Surrey hills. Although the wonderful weather made hiking all the more difficult, the students still managed to have smiling faces as they crossed the finish line.

All the groups faced many challenges along the way but they weren’t defeated. We are both extremely proud of their reliance, endurance and determination. It was tremendous achievement, Well done!
