Bubbles and zones

Year 7

Year 7 students will be based on the lower, or ground floor, unless they are taken to specialist rooms such as music. Their tutor rooms and teaching rooms will be in rooms L6 - L12. They will come onto site through the main Kingston Road entrance. Those on bicycles will be directed to their section of the bicycle shed. They should enter the school building through the student entrance (B on the map) and go to their tutor room. Their day will look as follows:

Y7 day

Year 7 students have their own toilets on the ground floor.  Their food will be delivered to the main hall for collection at 13.20.

Year 8

Year 8 students will be based on the middle floor, unless they are taken to specialist rooms. Their tutor rooms and teaching rooms will be in rooms M7 - M13. They will come onto site through the Edinburgh Drive entrance. Those on bicycles will be directed to an area near the sports hall where they can look their bikes up. They should enter the school building through the playground entrance behind L6 (F on the map) and go straight up the stairs to their tutor room. Their day will look as follows:

Y8 day

Year 8 students have their own toilets on the first floor of the sports hall.  Their food will be delivered to the main hall for collection at 13.20.

Year 9

Year 9 students will be based on the middle floor, unless they are taken to specialist rooms. Their tutor rooms and teaching rooms will be in rooms M14 - M19. They will come onto site through the main Kingston Road entrance. Those on bicycles will be directed to their section of the bicycle shed. They should enter the school building through the art entrance (C on the map) and go up the stairs to their first lesson. Their day will look as follows:

Y9 day

Year 9 students have their own toilets.  Boys will use the toilets in boys' PE changing and girls will use the staff toilets between the science prep room and the languages office on the M corridor.

Year 10

Year 10 students will be based in L3 and rooms on the middle floor, unless they are taken to specialist rooms. Their tutor rooms and teaching rooms will be in rooms L3 and M2 - M6. They will come onto site through the Edinburgh Drive entrance. Those on bicycles will be directed to their section of the bicycle shed. They should enter the school building through the L3 entrance (E on the map) and go to L3 or up the stairs to their first lesson. Their day will look as follows:

Y10 day

Year 10 students have exclusive use of the outside toilets. These have been fully refurbished to ensure they are pleasant to use: new doors, heating, repainting, new toilet furniture etc.

Year 11

Year 11 students will be based on the upper floor, unless they are taken to specialist rooms. Their tutor rooms and teaching rooms will be in rooms U1 - U6. They will come onto site through the main Kingston Road entrance. Those on bicycles will be directed to their section of the bicycle shed. They should enter the school building through the main reception (A on the map) and go up the stairs to their tutor room. Their day will look as follows:

Y11 day

Year 11 students have exclusive use of the staff toilets near the café.
