The day started with many pupil absences due to open evening appointments at sixth forms which cut the squad from 14 to 9. Last year we lost in the cup final so we needed to reply back. After making some late additions of Sandro A, Riley C-S, Henry D and Dom T, we had a squad and we were ready. 

 

The game started well and had some chances, Adem, Scott  and Lukas came close in the first 10 minutes. It was very end to end battle with Magna Carta hitting the cross bar before half time, a much needed wake up call. 

 

Second half and we started very well, and within 8 minutes we scored. Bob put in a great tackle in our own half, passed to Lukas who flicked the ball over the top to Adem. Adem used his pace to run 20 yards on goal and slotted the ball over the line. 

 

All 13 players were excellent but particular performance to be Riley C-S. Awarded player of the match by staff and students. Incredible desire and attitude throughout.
