As a school we offer our students independent careers advice, this service is carried out by Innervate Career Services.
Innervate Career Services are an independent, impartial careers service, delivering information, education, advice and guidance on all things career-related to over 20 schools and colleges across Surrey. Our team of skilled and experienced advisers work in close partnership with schools, colleges and training providers to support the transition of students into further or higher education, training and employment. Our services at The Matthew Arnold School include the delivery of high-quality one-to-one careers guidance interviews to Year 10 and 11 students, support to Year 8 and 9 students with choosing GCSE options and career education programmes across the year groups. We regularly attend parents’ evenings and options evenings and are on hand to provide information, advice and guidance to students, parents and carers. Our aim is to encourage young people to aspire, act and achieve – to enable them to realise their potential and make the transition into adulthood, employability and career well-being.
