    District Sports 18th & 21st June 2019

    Mrs Dixon, Mr Belcher & Mr Saunders took a group of year 7 and 8 students to District sports at Walton on Tuesday this week to compete in Athletics against 7 other schools in the local area. Our students displayed great attitude and effort; they were all outstanding from start to finish. Overall standings were Y7 girls 6/8, Y7 boys 4/8, Y8 girls 6/8 and Y8 boys 8/8.     Y7 & Y8 Netball

    Y7 Runners up! The Y7 netball team came second in the Spelthorne netball tournament at Thomas Knyvett on 26th March. They played so well and narrowly lost by one goal to Thamesmead. Y7 & Y8 Netball Wins! The Y7 and Y8 netball teams played Sunbury Manor after school on 27th March and both teams played great games.  Y7 won 10-5 and Y8 won 6-3.     Megan White, Year 10, along with her dog Lyric, competed at Crufts Dog Show last week and obtained a ‘Very Highly Commended’ Certificate for her achievements. We are extremely proud of their achievements - Megan was competing alongside adults - and have very high hopes for Megan and Lyric going into their next competition!
